Please read this Administrative Rules for Overseas Chinese Language & Culture Education Online Community (hereafter refers to the Community) carefully before you register and post.
Welcome to the Community. Please observe the following administrative rules formulated in order to maintain public order on the Internet and social stability.
1. You must observe related laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China, and accept any direct or indirect legal responsibilities arising from your act.
2. As an online community affiliated to Overseas Chinese Language & Culture Education Online, this forum focuses on Chinese-language teaching and overseas Chinese youth activities, and is intended to be an online platform for communication between scholars, teachers, students and Internet users, therefore you must stay on topics of the forum.
3. Pay attention to the following detailed rules when posting a new thread or posting to a pre-existing thread. For any violations, the administrators have the right to give warning, move or delete posts, or banish users permanently from the forum. Users' account may be subject to any other actions which are deemed appropriate by the administrators. This may require reporting you to the proper authorities such as law enforcement agencies or to your Internet service provider. Logs of all forum activity, including the IP address of all posts, are recorded to aid law enforcement.
1) You shall not publish material (including but not limited to text, picture, flash, audio, video and other multimedia forms, same below) that is against the Constitution, laws and regulation of the People's Republic of China;
2) You shall not publish material that is found to be hateful, abusive, slanderous, threatening or inflammatory; you shall not publish political comments;
3) You shall not publish material that is obscene, vulgar, or disgusting;
4) You shall not publish unauthorized or unconfirmed news on current affairs or public events;
5) You shall not publish material that spread ethnic discrimination and undermine national unity;
6) This forum welcomes friendly comments on others' works and technical discussions, but does not allow irrelevant, meaningless posts and replies; irresponsible comments on others' works are prohibited;
7) This forum does not allow advertisement in any form without prior approval from administrators;
8) This forum does not support starting a thread with a zero-byte post.
Copyright Policy
1. All messages express the views of the author, not the forum and its administration. The administrators reserve the right to delete posts without approval of the author;
2. Data integrity is not the liability of the forum;
3. When re-posting a material, users must pay attention to the original copyright claim, and bear copyright liabilities that may arise;
4. Copyright of a material (including re-posted material) belongs solely to the original author; if the author has a copyright claim or the material is attached with a copyright claim, the copyright is decided by the author's claim or the attached claim;
5. The Community has the right to republish or quote any material posted on the forum, unless the author indicates otherwise.
User Name Registration
1. Do not register with names (real name, pen name, nickname, etc) of state and Party leaders and other celebrities;
2. Do not register with names of state institutions or other agencies;
3. Do not register with indecent names;
4. Do not register with ambiguous or misleading names;
5. Do not register with names of signs or graphs.
Signature Line
1. Content of signature line must be healthy;
2. Signature line cannot contain links to article, music or other material outside Overseas Chinese Education Online;
3. Signature line can contain only one picture.
